Dr. Maryam Alizadeh, PharmD (Dr. Miab)
Dr. Maryam Alizadeh, affectionately known as Dr. Miab, is a licensed pharmacist with a Doctorate of Pharmacy from Midwestern University College of Pharmacy in Glendale, Arizona, earned in 2021. Recognized for her academic excellence, she was named to the Dean’s List and developed an early passion for pharmaceutical compounding, completing multiple certifications through PCCA, a global leader in compounding education.
Dr. Miab began her career as the founding pharmacist-in-charge at several retail and mail-order pharmacies, where she gained valuable experience but also recognized the limitations of traditional pharmacy settings. Motivated by a desire to offer more personalized, patient-centered care, she opened Wellness Pharmacy in Fountain Hills, Arizona, in July 2023. Her vision was to create a welcoming, community-based pharmacy that empowers individuals to take an active role in their health.
Inspired by her Middle Eastern roots and a deep appreciation for natural medicine, Dr. Miab blends modern compounding techniques with holistic wellness practices. Wellness Pharmacy offers customized medication solutions, a carefully curated selection of natural supplements and remedies, and integrative services such as IV therapy, community acupuncture, and Harmonic Light Therapy, in collaboration with a naturopath and nurse practitioner.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Miab is an adjunct professor at Midwestern University and the University of Arizona, where she helps train future pharmacists through Wellness Pharmacy’s role as a teaching and internship site for advanced compounding.
A proud member of the Arizona Pharmacy Association, Dr. Miab is a devoted wife, mother, and community advocate who enjoys boating and spending time with her family and loved ones.
Teresa Foster, FNP
Teresa Foster is a Family Nurse Practitioner with advanced training in Functional and Integrative Medicine. She previously worked at Nature Works Best, a renowned natural cancer treatment center in Tempe, AZ, where she refined her protocols based on real-world patient outcomes.
Teresa focuses on identifying root causes of chronic illness and cancer by healing the gut, removing environmental toxins, and optimizing the body’s function through nutrition, supplements, hormone balancing, detoxification, and lifestyle changes. Her clinical background also includes experience in conventional, emergency, and injury recovery medicine.
She has completed the Functional Nurse Academy (July 2023) and the FLCCC Conference (April 2023). Outside of her professional life, Teresa enjoys nature, quality time with family, and keeping up with her energetic five-year-old daughter.
Dr. Karen Willfahrt
Dr. Willfahrt is a Naturopathic Doctor and Nurse. She graduated from Southwest College of Naturopathic Medicine in Tempe and has been in practice for the past 24 years. She is passionate about disease prevention and rejuvenation, with a goal of overall wellness. Experienced in the care of patients with autoimmune conditions, including MS, RA, CIDP, Crohn’s Disease and Ulcerative Colitis, Dr. Willfahrt develops treatment plans targeted to repair and restore health.
Willfahrt also has 47 years of experience as a nurse. Her patient care is influenced by her various areas of nursing expertise, including Pediatrics, Hospice Care, Home Health and Infusion Nursing.
She is Founder and Director of Life Journey Partners of America, Inc., a Phoenix based nonprofit, whose mission is finding creative solutions within communities, supportive of caregivers and those they care for. She is married to her husband Dave, and together, they have four grown children and five grandchildren. She loves walks with her dog in the desert, gardening and time spent with family and friends.
Bobby Zamani
Bobby Zamani’s journey began in Iran, where a childhood fascination with high-end cars and a deep admiration for his entrepreneurial father planted the seeds of his future. At 19, he left home for a new life in Toronto, Canada—driven by ambition and a dream to build something of his own.
Though he graduated as a mechanical engineer tool and die maker, Bobby’s heart was always in business. Together with his father, he launched and sold multiple successful ventures across industries—from packaging, marketing & printing, real estate flips. That same drive eventually led him to real estate, where he’s spent the past 11 years helping others find their own place to grow.
Now a husband, father, and co-founder of Wellness Pharmacy with his wife, Dr. Miab, Bobby lives for challenge, growth, and impact. Whether he’s out on the water, behind the wheel, or building his next legacy, he proves that with passion and grit, even a small start can lead to something big.
